This is 2B from the Nier: Automata video game This was one of the earliest commissions I did for someone I didn’t know personally that was more than just a dress. I made a dress, then basically cut it apart to get the right look – it was so nerve-wracking for me! I cut the top piece out of the same material as the dress, then put snaps in so it would lie flat for the customer when she put it on. I made the dress, the leotard underneath and the gloves. I learned how to make my own stamp, and also how to emboss velvet for this project. It was intense, and she loved how it turned out!
This is Clara, a companion from the Doctor Who TV series. I spent hours finding just the right pattern and fabric for this dress, and the customer sent me back this amazing picture of her coming out of a TARDIS!
