This was a fun commission! It’s a recreation of the disco-esque suit from Ninja Sex Party’s music video cover of Aha’s Take On Me. I used an independent pattern designer and combined two patterns, then added flares to the pants and created a cape. The customer sent this picture from his event. It’s always fun to get customer shots!

This is from DragonCon 2014. The dress is my historically-accurate 18th-century gown inspired by Claire Hummel took me about 3 months to make. I made everything, even the shoes! I made most of my partner’s costume as well – that took me about a week. He got a lot more compliments than I did, since hardly anyone does the Disney princes apparently!
